Since our inception, DHMRF has made a measurable difference in the lives of underprivileged, street, and working children across Maharashtra. Our programmes have reached thousands of marginalized families, enabling access to education, healthcare, and social security where it is needed most

Through a network of community-focused initiatives, we work across Maharashtra to uplift disadvantaged children and families. Guided by the principles of dignity, equality, and commitment, our programmes bridge critical gaps in education, healthcare, livelihood, and social security.

Preventive Health & Nutrition

DHMRFF is committed to improving the health and nutrition of vulnerable communities across Maharashtra, with a strong focus on street children, slum dwellers, and those in economically challenging circumstances. Our initiatives prioritize prevention, early intervention, and community empowerment to ensure long-term well-being.

Education

Education is a fundamental right and a critical pathway to breaking the cycle of poverty and vulnerability for street children. Despite their eagerness to learn, countless street and marginalized children are denied access to quality education because of extreme poverty, unstable family situations, social stigma, and lack of basic resources.

Residential Programme

At DHMRF, we are dedicated to breaking these barriers by providing free textbooks, learning materials, mentoring support, and community-based education programs designed specifically for these vulnerable children. Our efforts aim to create inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environments where street children can reclaim their right to education and aspire to a brighter future.

Restoration & Rehabilitation

Every day, numerous children from rural and economically challenged regions migrate—often alone or without responsible guardians—in search of survival, safety, or opportunity. Many end up in unfamiliar urban centers, drawn by the hope of work, food, or shelter, yet facing a world filled with uncertainty and risk.
