Daware Home Makers & Reelief Foundation (DHMRF) was founded with a vision to address the hardships of marginalized communities in Maharashtra. Shri Chandrakant Nivrutti Daware, born and raised in Navi Mumbai amid economic adversity, drew inspiration from his own experiences of poverty, resilience, and social work. His journey—from humble beginnings in a slum, facing early family responsibilities, to organizing grassroots movements for equality and empowerment—shaped DHRMF’s mission. The organization brings together decades of grassroots experience, activism, and collaboration with numerous social, non-governmental, women’s and farmers’ collectives to drive widespread and tangible social change. DHRMF’s work is rooted in the ideals of iconic reformers such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Rajshree Shahu Maharaj, striving to create a just and equal society.
Today, DHMRFstands as a multi-faceted, community-driven NGO headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Over the years, it has established itself as a trusted force for uplifting the marginalized—touching lives through education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, legal advocacy, economic self-reliance, and social justice. Led by Shri Daware, who is widely respected as an honest, secular, and visionary leader, the foundation partners with a robust network of organizations and volunteers across Maharashtra. Through award-winning initiatives and dedicated service, DHMRFcontinues to impact thousands of women, children, farmers, and other vulnerable groups.
